Elizabeth A. Kinter, 83, of Homer City, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 13, 1918, in Sagamore, Indiana County, a daughter of Ephriam P. and Lizzie Mae Johnson Peron. Mrs. Kinter lived most of her life in Homer City, where she worked as a tax collector for Homer City for 33 years.

She was a lifelong member of the Homer City United Methodist Church and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Homer City Kiwanis, the Pa. Tax Payers Association and Indiana Chapter 299, Eastern Star.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bill (Nancy A.) George, Homer City; a sister, Dorothy Holt, Dayton; two sisters-in-law, Eva and Eleanor Peron; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 30 years, Joseph H., in 1967; a daughter, Pamela Jo Feracioly; brothers Gerald, John and Thomas; a brother-in-law, Leonard L. Holt and a grandson, William E. George II.

A funeral service will be held today at 11 a.m. at Robinson-Lytle, Indiana. The Revs. Joseph Stains and Dr. Scott Browning will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
