Blanche Hartman Dies at Age 85

Mrs. Blanche C. Hartman, 85, of Rimersburg died Sunday evening, Dec. 6, 1981, in Warren General Hospital. Born June 11, 1896, in Toby Township, she was a daughter of the late Alva and Mary Shook Stewart. She was married Sept. 2, 1914, to Fred B. Hartman, who died Jan. 4, 1966. Mrs. Hartman was a member of the Cherry Run United Presbyterian Church and the Cherry Run Presbyterian Church and the Missionary Society of the church. Surviving are one son, Clair L. of Warren; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edwin Stewart of Vandergrift, and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Walls of New Bethlehem. One brother, two sisters, and one son, Karl S., who died June 7, 1943, preceded her in death. Friends are being received at the Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home in Rimersburg, J.D. Miller supervisor, where services will be at 2. P.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Boyd A Bell will officiate. Burial will be in the Cherry Run United Presbyterian Cemetery.
