Funeral services for Mrs. Olive Neal, who died Thursday, October 29, at the St. Francis hospital in San Francisco, California, were held Monday afternoon from the Swank chapel in Camas.
Elder Dustan of the Portland Seventh Day Adventist church officiated at the services and interment was in the Fern Prairie cemetery.
Mrs. Neal was born April 26, 1888, at Portland, Oregon. Later she moved with her family to Fern Prairie where she spent the earlier part of her life. On June 8, 1909, she was married to W. H. Neal. During the rest of her life she lived in various parts of Western Washington and Oregon with her family.
She had been ill for sometime before she went to San Francisco in June of this year for special medical attention.
She is survived by her widower, W. H. Neal; by two children, Warren and LaNora, former Camas students; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Kays of Battle Ground and Mrs. Bina Warren of Gaston, Oregon and three brothers, Charles Atkins of Camas, Bert Atkins of Trout Lake and George Atkins of Turner, Oregon.
She had a host of friends in Camas and was a member of the Florence Rebekah Lodge No. 19 of Camas.
