Clemens F. Anhalt, 88, a former rural Kiel resident, died July 20 at Rocky Knoll where he resided the past three months.
Born August 15, 1889, in the Town of Eaton, a son of August and Susanna Hartmann Anhalt, he attended district school in the Town of Eaton.He married the former Alma Gast on October 22, 1912, in Kiel.
Mr. Anhalt and his wife farmed in the Town of Eaton until 1940, when they moved to Kiel. He was employed at the Polar Ware Company in Sheboygan until his retirement in 1958.Mrs. Anhalt died in 1947.
He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, and the Holy Name Society of the parish.
Survivors include two daughters, three sons, 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
