Vera Frances Bailey Ferguson resident of Kerrville, Texas passed away March 16, 2009. She was born on February 13, 1917 in Hardeman County, Texas. S

he was a devout Christian and loyal member of the Baptist Churches in Lubbock, Taos, New Mexico, Snyder and Kerrville where she also sang in the choir and had a genuine love for people and zest for life.

Numerous nieces and nephews who she all called her children survive her.

She and her husband, John Holmes Ferguson, were married for 60 years when he preceded her in death in 1998. Most of their married life was in Lubbock where Frances owned a gift shop and then worked with her husband at the Dixon Paper Company. After their retirement they moved to Taos, New Mexico. After his death, she moved to Snyder, Texas and then to Kerrville.

Graveside services will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery in Lubbock, Texas at 3:30 PM March 19th. Memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 1001 Water St., Ste. B100, Kerrville, Texas 78028 or The American Heart Association.
