Services for Juanita Cockerham Denison, 80, of Hillsboro, were held at the First Assembly of God Church in Hillsboro with the Rev. Al Crane officiating. Burial under the direction of Edens Funeral Home.
She was born in Winn Parish, La. to Gill and Olive Mae Holloway Cockerham.
Mrs. Denison grew up in Louisiana and Ellis County, Texas and attended school in Ellis County.
She worked in Waxahachie during the early part of WWII and she married Noal Denison. She then lived in Galveston, LaMarque and Palestine before moving back to Milford in 1980.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Albert Denison of Palestine; daughters, Barbara Jennings and Sandra Zimmerman; a sister, Lovie Marie Pruitt; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
