Iva D. Nowling Cole, died 12 Oct. 1978, Jackson Co., IN; she was born on 15 Sept 1890 to James & Cordelia Brewer Nowling. She married Albert W. Cole on 12 Nov. 1912, he died in 1948.
Survivors were sons: James A. & Robert L. Cole of Seymour; five daughters: Mrs. Jake (Sarah) Darkis, Mrs. Myrtle Weddell, Mrs. Bee (Elizabeth) Brown, all of Medora; Mrs. Ruby Barley, Medora Rt. 1, Mrs. Robert (Rosemary) Ault of Seymour, R5, Mrs. Anna Elliot, Salem & Mrs. Ella Jaynes, Mrs. Shirley (Ethel) McDonald & Mrs. Earl Luckey, all of Seymour, 41 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren & 19 great-greatgrandchildren.
Three brothers, three sisters & four grandchildren & two Great-grandchildren preceded her in death. Funeral services at 2 p.m. Oct. 15, from Voss Chapel, Seymour with Rev. Dewey Allman officiating; burial in Vallonia Cemetery.
