Charles L Bryan, 72, of 3009 North 11th, Kansas City, Kansa, died yesterday at a nursing home in Miami County, Kansas.

He was born in Miami County and had lived in this area 46 years. He retired in 1958 as an inspector for the Department of Agriculture. He was a member of the Order of Eagles.

Surviving area son, Dale M Bryan 7316 Park Forest Lane, Kansas City North; two daughters Mrs Mildred Clay 808 North 83rd terrace, and Mrs Evelyn Orr, 309 North 11th: three brothers Harold Bryan, 1911 North 85th; Daniel Bryan 1526 North 64th; and Ralph Bryan, Bashor, Kansas; three sisters Mrs Martha Mattern 1411 N 64th Street; Mrs. Irene Grosko, 1517 North 64th; and Mrs Hattie Allen Louisburg Kansas; 8 Grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday at the Runyan Chapel, Louisburg; burial in the Beagle Kansas Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 o'clock Friday night at the chapel.
