Death Claims Jennie Jensen

Jennie Nielson Jensen, 82, of 237 N. 700 W. died Friday at 2 P.M. at her home of causes incident to age.

She was born Jan. 26, 1876, in Ephraim, Utah a daughter of Christian and Christiana Sorensen Nielson. She received her education in Sanpete County schools and moved to Pleasant Grove as a young women.

On June 30, 1904, she married Christian C. Jensen at Richfield. He died April 29, 1951. They came to Provo in 1929, where Mrs. Jensen had made her home since.

She was a member of the LDS Church, where she was active in the auxiliary organizations including the Relief Society and was a first counselor in the Primary in Elsinore for many years.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Willard Jensen, Provo; Neldon Lynn Jensen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Grant (Erma) Christensen, Payson; Mrs. O.P. (Christy) Fitzgerald, Orem; 20 grandchildren, 13 Great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 P.M. in the Elsinore Ward Chapel, with Bishop George Anderson of the Elsinore Ward officiating. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary in Provo, Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and at the Elsinore Ward Chapel Tuesday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery.
