Mrs Agnes Brittain, 82, 1704 Avenue O, died Wednesday night at a local hospital of general decline. She had been ailing for 20 years.
A native of Augusta, she had been a resident of Council Bluffs 40 years. She was a member of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints church.
Survivors are: daughter, Mrs Helen McCartney of Denver, Color; two sons, Nephi Brittain of Council Bluffs and Robert Brittain of Lone Wolf, Okla., and 9 grandchildren.
Culter's Funeral Home is in charge.
