She was first married to Frederick Leuder and had one son, Frederick, at the time of Mr. Leuder's death. She married Henry Hamm on 22 Oct 1871 in Concordia. She was the mother of Gottfried Deidrich, Julius Theodore, Henry Amadeus, and Amlafried D. Hamm.
