Surviving him are his wife, Emma; seven sons, Richard, South Dakota, John, Olaf and LeRoy, all of Minneapolis, Sylvester, Askov, Jim, St. Louis Park and Russell, Cedar; three daughters, Lucille, address unknown, Lucy May, Danbury, Wisconsin and Lorraine, Iowa; 71 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, St. Paul, on Monday at 2 p.m. Arrangements made by the Larson-Haglund Funeral Home of Sandstone.
