THELMA HAMILTON NAVE, 94, passed away on March 18, 2009 at Methodist University Hospital. Mrs. Nave was a member of Bartlett Hills Baptist Church, where she taught the senior adult Faithful Workers Class for 15 years. She was a graduate of Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway AR, and earned a Master's Degree from Memphis State University. Mrs. Nave was a retired teacher of Memphis City Schools. She was a member of the Chickasaw Bluffs Chapter of D.A.R. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Nave, and is survived by her brother Nathan Hughes Hamilton of Sacramento, CA; her children, Arthur Nave of Memphis, Paul Nave of Marion, AR Dennis Nave of San Antonio, TX and Carol Caumissar of Amarillo, TX; 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. The visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 23 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
