Carl Edward Hinderliter was the son of William Horace Hinderliter and Sarah Elizabeth Snyder.

He married Texas Minich on 15 Oct 1921 at the Methodist Parsonage in New Salem, Armstrong Co., PA.

Carl died at the Brookville Hospital in Brookville, PA and was buried 12 Sep 1976.

CARL E. HINDERLITER

Carl E. Hinderliter, 77, of Mayport RD 2 (North Freedom) died at 8:20 a.m. Thursday at Brookville Hospital.

He owned and operated a garage in North Freedom for the past 44 years. He was a member of North Freedom United Methodist Church.

A son of William H. and Elizabeth (Snyder) Hinderliter, he was born July 29, 1899, in Redbank Township, Armstrong County, and lived his entire life in that area. On Oct. 15, 1921, he married Texas Minich at the Methodist Parsonage in Salem, Armstrong County.

His wife survives him, along with two sons, Mead of Warren and James W. of Mayport RD 2; a sister, Mrs. Vera Young of Hawthorn; two brothers, Walter of Reynoldsville and Delbert of Erie; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Lois Smith, died Feb. 22, 1976. Also deceased are three sisters, Effie, Dorothy and Elva, and a brother, Casper.

HINDERLITER - Service for Carl E. Hinderliter, who died Sept. 9, 1976, will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Charles D. Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn, by the Rev. Rayburn Nulph. Burial will be in North Freedom Cemetery, Ringgold Township. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and until time of service Saturday. Arrangements by Alcorn.
