Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Hudson Funeral Home for Francis N. Lane, 88, who died Wednesday afternoon at his home east of Horntown.
W. C. Upchurch will officiate. Burial will be in Holdenville cemetery, with Hudson's in charge of arrangements.
Bearers will be Clarence Cherry, Marion Cox, Dick Commeti, Bert Willis, Andy Berry and John Seiber.
Mr. Lane came to Indian Territory 83 years ago from Tennessee where he was born on May 23, 1867. He has lived in Hughes county since 1911, when he moved here from Sapulpa.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons, John F., Paden, Sam, Dimmitt, Tex., and Elbert, Holdenville; Two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Conley, Holdenville; and Mrs Lela Ponder, Detroit, Mich; 32 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
