On August 29, 1947 he was united in marriage to Ruby Duggins in Mountain Home, AR and to this union one son was born. Frank was a well known carpenter in this area for 35 years. As he many times drove through the area he proudly pointed out his accomplishments of finished businesses and homes.
Frank enjoyed visiting with friends and family, listening to bluegrass music and going to church. He will always be remembered by his unique sense of humor. Often when he was asked how he was feeling he would reply seriously, "with my fingers". He was well thought of and respected by friends and family. He left many precious memories and we were blessed to have had him in our lives. We will miss him dearly.
Frank is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruby (Duggins)Anderson of the home; one son Roger Anderson and his wife Beverly of Gainesville, MO; one granddaughter Shelly of Colorado Springs, CO; one grandson Bobby Anderson and his wife Candice of Gainesville, MO; one sister Phyllis Long and husband Sie of West Plains, MO; one brother J.R. Anderson and wife Sandra of Mountain Home, AR; many nieces and nephews, cousins, and church family.
He will have a heavenly reunion with his parents Mack and Eunice Anderson; two brothers Jerel Mack and Berman Anderson; one great granddaughter Remington Anderson; and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Mammoth Assembly of God Church south of Gainesville, MO with Gale Wooten officiating. Interment will be in the Mammoth Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 PM at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, MO.
