JACOB DICK S. 23601
Jacob Dick - Reading, January 13, 1833 - deposes that he is eighty years of age, and maketh the following declaration in order to obtain the benefits of the Provision made by the act of Congress passed June Seventh A,D. 1832. That he entered in what was called the Flying Camp in the service of the United States in the year 1776 for the term of six months, and served in a Company commanded by Capt» Joseph Heister, Col, Henry Hallerd, regiment of the Pennsylvania Line. That he served the period of Six months that at the time of his enlistment he resided in the Borough of Reading County aforesaid. That he was in the following Battles Long Island, and White Plains, hereby rellnguishing every claim, whatever to a pension or any annuity except the present.

First - Where and in what year was you born?
I was born in the Borough of Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania,
in the year to the best of my recollection 1752.
Second - Have you any record of your age if so where is it.
I have no record and no know about it but from hear say.
Third - Where was you living when you enlisted in Flying Camp, and where have you lived ever since the Revolutionary War?
I Lived in the Borough of Reading and have lived there ever since.
Fourth - How was you called into the service?
I was enlisted for six months in what was called in the Flying
Camp in the manner I have Stated in my application for a pension.

$20 a month.

Certificate issued Mar. 15, 1833.

Arrears to Mar. 4, 1833 - |40.

Semi annual allowance ending Sept. 4, 1833 - flO.

Rev. Claim act June 7, 1332.
