BERNICE SCHEFERS, 74, WAITE PARK
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waite Park, for Mrs. Lawrence (Bernice A.) Schefers, 74, 120-10th Ave. N., Waite Park, who died Saturday at her home.
The Rev. Vincent Lieser will officiate. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Daniel Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be 7:30 tonight at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Bernice Schefers was born January 13, 1916 in Biscay to John and Mary (Brick) Raden. She married Harris Behrenbrinker in 1937 in St. Cloud and he died February 23, 1963. She married Lawrence H. Schefers October 5, 1963, in St. Cloud. She had been a resident of Waite Park for the past 20 years where she was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Mary Alyce) Pfannenstein, Melrose; six grandchildren; and sisters, Mrs. Arnie (Millie) Gates, Indianapolis, Ind; and Mrs. Clarence (Tootie) Beumer, St. Augusta.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, James Behrenbrinker, in 1985.
Pallbearers will be Jeff and Keith Pfannenstein and Kurt, Elmer, Melvin and Jerry Schefers.
