Henry Louis Wolfley 65 years old, passed away Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. July 19 at the home of his son Laron at Riverside, Idaho.
On July 4th he had a stroke and has not recovered from that. For the past year his health has not been too good, but he has been able to be up and around.
His funeral will be held at Riverside, on Saturday, at 2:00 p.m. and he will be buried by the side of his wife in the Riverside cemetery.

Henry Louis Wolfley, 65, Star Valley pioneer, passed away on his birthday anniversary at the home of his son Laron at Riverside, Idaho, following a stroke suffered July 4th, 1942. since that time he has lived with his daughter, Mrs Rozelia Cazier at Etna. He has spent the last six months at the home of his son, Laron at Riverside.
Mr. Wolfley was born at St. Charles Idaho July 19, 1879. He was the son of Rudolf and Magdeline Schirm Wolfley. The family moved to Star Valley near Freedom when Henry was 8 years of age. He lived in Star Valley 45 years. He was one of the early pioneers and one of the first freighters who hauled hogs to Idaho Falls by team and wagon, bringing back a load of necessities which could not be obtained in Star Valley. He was a hard worker and endured many hardships,never complaining, no matter how ard the trails he ahd to bear.
He was a lover of outdoors, enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was married to Jeanette McGivin of Thayne Wyo. on June 20, 1901.
In May 1908 he took his wife and three children in a white top buggy drawn by houses to the Logan temple where they were sealed for time and eternity.
He was truly a devoted husband and father and leaves to mourn his loss to the following children:
Laron Wolfley, riverside, Idaho, Mrs Rozelia Cazier, Etna, Wyoming, Lewis Wolfley, etna, Wyoming, Mrs. Elva Ridardson, Inkom Idaho, Robert Wolfley, Emmett, Idaho, William Wolfley, Blackfoot, Idaho, Theresa West, Ogden Utah, Milford Wolfley, Minneapolis Minn., Lynn Wolfley, New Plymounth, Idaho, also two deceased children, Magdeline and Katie. Also 25 grandchildren and the following brother and sisters: Rudolf E. Wolfley, Logan Utah, Mrs. Rosetta crouch, Moreland, Idaho, Mrs Emma Worley, Arimo Idaho, Mrs Libby Turner, Turnerville, Wyoming,Mrs. Regina Wolfley Bedford, Wyoming and Mrs. Sylvia Heiner, Bedford, Wyoming.
Funeral services were held at Riverside July 22 at 2p.m. with Bishop Wray officiating.

Bishop Wray was the first speaker, he spoke of the sterling character of the deceased also of the wonderful companionship which existed between brother and sister Wolfley.

2nd speaker, Bp. Ray Clark who spoke of the early boyhood which he spent with Bro. Wolfley. He also spoke of his good disposition.
3rd speaker, Bro Luther Haderlie who also spoke of the boyhood days they spent together, of Bro, Wolfley's kindness to little children and his willingness to help others.
Song: Riverside members.
4th speaker, Bro Parley Avery of the Blackfoot stake Presidency and also a neighbor of Bro. and Sister Wolfley. He also spoke of the sterling character of the deceased and the high esteem in which the family are held.
Song: "That silver Haired Daddy of Mine" by Gaylen Harmon of Fairview accompanied by Bonnie Moesser.
Closing prayer by Bro. Taylor.
The flowers were profuse and beautiful and he was laid to rest by the side of his wife in the Riverside cemetery and the grave was dedicated by his nephew, Elder Glen Ellis.
