She was born on March 20, 1914, in Shenandoah County, and was the daughter of the late David Henry and Bertie Armentrout Harpine.
Mrs. Lineweaver lived most of her life in Rockingham County and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg. She worked at Rocking "R" Hardware and Rockingham Memorial Hospital , part time.
On April 10, 1931, she married J "Sam" Samuel Lineweaver, who preceded her in death on April 6, 2002.
She is survived by one son, Henry N Lineweaver and wife, Ellen of McGaheysville; three grandchildren, Stephen Lineweaver and wife, Stephanie, Charity Derrow and husband, Jeff, and Jodi Lineweaver; six great grandchildren, Beth Lineweaver and Josh Lineweaver and wife Kristi, Emily Whistleman and husband, Jacob, Stormy and Hunter Derrow, and Ike Cline, two great-great-grandchildren, Grayson and Gabriel Lineweaver. One sister, Doris Trobaugh of Bridgewater, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11;00 a.m. Friday, Nov 24, 2006, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Thomas Holden III officiating.
Ther will be no visitation.
