She was 81 years old. Although born in Utah, she came to Arizona when she was seven years old. She was one of the first students to attend Tempe Normal School, which was a teachers' college, and eventually became Arizona State University.
She was survived by six children, F. Lee Kerby of Denver and former supervisor of Tonto National Forest; Mark and Joe, both of Mesa; Mrs. Bessie Cline and Mrs. Reta Arney, both of Globe; and Mrs. Irene Guenther of California; three brothers, C.C. Rogers, Preston Rogers and Harry Rogers; three sisters, Mrs. Georgia Hasty, Mrs. Reta Hatcher and Mrs. Ruth Fenner, all of California.
