Son of Francis Kerby II and Marie LeCornu.


Children with first wife, Bathesba Lavina Wall, were Bathesba and Elsie.


Child with second wife, Amelia Eldredge Rodgers, was Alice Amelia Kerby.



"Death Comes To Beloved Pioneer"

Alma Kirby, one of the oldest and best known pioneers in the county, died at an early hour yesterday morning at his home ranch on Pinto creek, known as Kirby station.

The funeral services will be held at the Jones undertaking parlors this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Bishop Alonzo Hunsaker will conduct the last sad rites. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend.

Mr. Kirby was 52 years of age and his death was not unexpected as he had been seriously ill for some time.

He leaves many sorrowing friends besides a large family and a number of relatives to mourn his untimely death.
