Several have said his name is Bartlett Jasper Dills, Sr. His headstone isn't pictured, the attached one belongs to his son. (I have already contacted the contributor who posted it on this one).
Even though his name is believed to be Bartlett Jasper Dills, Sr, one contributor believes the Jasper should be removed to fit stone (which we do not yet have pictured). She believes the name Jasper was popular after one military man (based on Wikipedia and I will share her comment below soon) but Jasper was a name used then. You may decide for yourself; send research if you want.
This Bartlett Dills Sr (or Bartlett Jasper Dills Sr some say) was the son of Thomas Dills and Elizabeth Cuzzine.
Husband of Susannah Henson, married 1792 in Rutherford Co., NC. (When the memorial was turned over to me it had wives of his son and grandson attached and I have sorted it out, it was a work in progress as so many had sent edits to the previous manager. This man had one wife, Susannah Henson, called "Susan"
