An educated guess would be he died sometime prior to 1900, since in the 1900 Federal Census, his parents and all of his siblings were shown as being home. In that census, his mother was shown as the mother of seven children and six of those were still living. It appears that he would be the one that was deceased. Also from looking at the birth dates of the siblings, it is a safe guess that he was the fourth of the seven children and as such would have been born around 1887.
