Mrs. Lorena Elmo Parks, age 75 of Rockwall, Tex. died at Rockwall January 14. She was the daughter of the late Dr. H.L. and Lucy Elizabeth Herring Montgomery, the widow of John Thomas Parks, a native of Yell County and a Methodist.
Survivors include two sons, Ray Parks of Rockwall and Joyce Parks of Amarillo, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Ola Montgomery Garner of Plainview; one granddaughter and one great grandson.
Funeral services were held at the First Methodist Church in Gravelly January 15 with Dr. Keith Parks, nephew of Mrs. Parks, officiating. Pallbearers were: Bill Caviness, Doc Oglesbee, Robert Caviness, Fred Blackstock, J.D. Taylor and Herman McCormick.
