Edna Mae Proctor, 89, died Saturday at Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
The Bulloch County native was a homemaker and a member of the Denmark Sewing Club. She was a member of the Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, N. A. Proctor, Brooklet; a daughter, Carolyn P. Cooper, Lyons; two sons, Allen D. Proctor, Brooklet, and E. N. Proctor, Nevils; two sisters, Eva Lee Nevils, Statesboro, and Cleta D. Jones, Wichita, Kan.; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 4 p.m. at the chapel of Hodges-Turner Funeral Home with Elder Woodrow Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
