Funeral Saturday For Father of Rule Postmaster

RULE, Feb. 11. (RNS)--Funeral for J. F. Norman, Haskell County resident since 1898 who died Thursday morning, will be held at the Rule Baptist Church Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock with the Revs. J. D. Webster of Pinkerton and Houston Walker of Rule officiating.

Burial will be in Rule Cemetery, under direction of the Gauntt Funeral Home.

Native of Mississippi, Mr. Norman moved to Texas when 12 years old. He was married to the former Minnie Bird Aug 6, 1891, at Eddy, Tex. He had farmed in the Rule vicinity since moving to this County in 1898.

Suriviving are the widow and 15 grandchildren, all of whom will attend the funeral.

Sons are Fred E. of Ennis, Reuben of Amarillo, Floyd A. of Los Angeles, Norval J. of Odessa, Thelbert M. of Newbury, Ore., and Claude F., Roy L., Doyle T., Lester A. and Carl C. Norman, all of Rule. Claude F. Norman is the local postmaster.

Daughters are Mrs. Maggie Kimbler, Mrs. Lilliam E. Brown and Mrs. Middie D. Lees, all of Rule; Mrs. Grace M McKelvain of Haskell and Mrs. Reba L. Miller of El Paso.
