KERRVILLE — Reba Loudell Norman Miller, precious Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was lifted into the loving arms of God on Sunday, July 2, 2006.
Reba was born April 13, 1920, in Rule, Haskell County, Texas. She was the youngest of 15 children born to James Frank and Minnie Elender Byrd Norman. Her parents and siblings predeceased her.
Reba married Howell Lee Miller July 3, 1937, in Haskell, Texas. The Millers resided in Farmington, NM, for many years. Reba had a long and distinguished banking career in addition to rearing her family. After retirement, Reba and Howell moved to Kerrville to be near their daughter, Donna and her family. Mr. Miller passed away February 15, 1995, while a resident of Kerrville.
Reba had a profound love of family history. She was a member of Major James Kerr Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Captain Francis Eppes I Chapter Daughters of the American Colonists and Southern Dames of America.
Reba was a loving and gentle soul who touched the lives of her family and friends. Her beautiful presence will be sorely missed. Our faith assures us that she now rests in the loving arms of God.
Reba is survived by her two children and their spouses; 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the Rule Cemetery in Rule, Texas, officiated by John Greeson.
