Anna Moss Dies At 75
Mrs. Anna Case Moss, 75, widow of Robert Moss, formerly of Atchison, died in a Lawrence nursing home at 1:30 a.m. today. Her husband, who died at Lawrence two years ago, built the illuminated cross on the dome of the First Christian church of Atchison and presented it to the church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carl Reuter of the home in Lawrence; a son, Robert Moss, jr., Topeka; four grandchildren; a brother, John Case, route 2; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Nielson, route 2; Mrs. Earl Draper and Mrs. Ross Knowles, both of Atchison, and Mrs. Julian Stuart, Indianapolis.
A son, Charles Case Moss, preceded her in death several years ago.
She was born north of St. Joe Nov. 24, 1886, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James H. Case. She was married to Robert Moss at Denver, Colo., in 1909.
Funeral arrangements are pending. Burial will be in the Armstrong-Cummings cemetery north of Atchison.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Cooper-Warren funeral home in Lawrence. Graveside services will be held at Cummings-Armstrong cemetery north of Atchison. The Rev. Donald Case will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Victor Willmeth, John Case, jr., Carl Draper, Lyle Hartman, Charles Spencer and Frank Case.
