Mrs. Esther McAllister, widow of the late A. U. McAllister, died Monday morning at 8:30 at the home of her son Elmer McAllister 210 Seventh street, aged eighty-one yours, death resulting from recurring strokes of apoplexy sustained by Mrs. McAllister during the past year. Mrs. McAllister was the daughter of Timothy C. and Mary Merritt. She was born in Logansport and her death occurred in a residence properly adjacent to the place of her birth. She is survived by two sons, Elmer McAllister of this city, and Leon McAllister of Great Falls, Montana, and two grandsons, Alfred and Lewis McAllister. Mrs. McAllister was a member of the Shakespeare Club of which four members have passed away during the past year.
