George Gardner Nix, 73 of 33 MacIntosh Avenue, Bible Hill, Nova Scotia, died in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Waltham, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late George and Violetta (Hagar) Nix. He was a long-time employee of Wilson Fuel's Ltd., Truro.
He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy Langille, daughter Cathy, two grandchildren, Christie and Kevin, a brother, Harding of Claremont, New Hampshire, three nieces and nephews and several cousins.
He is buried in Onslow Island Cemetery, Central Onslow, Nova Scotia.
