Kester Lewellyn "Bob" Mendenhall was the son of James Owen Mendenhall and Hessie Rocsanna Northam. He married Bessie C. Legg in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon on 1 Sept 1915 and they had three children: Betty Jane b 14 Feb 1917 and died 15 July 1917; K.L. Jr b 11 May 1918 Portland and died 24 Nov 1985 Santa Clara, California; and a daughter, b 1920 still living.
