CAMAS—Olaf Torsen, 85, of 623 N.E. Dallas St., died in Vancouver Sunday, Jan. 16, 1994. He had retired as a welder for FMC.
Born May 11, 1908, in Norway, Mr. Torsen had lived in Camas 44 years. He was a member of the Camas Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lettie C., at home; two daughters, Carrie Blanchard of Camas and Mary Bailey of Vancouver; two sons, Arthur and Daniel, both of Camas; four brothers, Jon Baerhaugen, Arthur Baerhaugen, Bjerne Baerhaugen and Simund Baerhaugen all of Norway; one sister, Marie Bjorlund of Norway; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Camas Assembly of God Church, followed by burial in Fern Prairie Cemetery.
