Vivian Menn Hathaway Kircher (our MawMaw), 95, of Burnet, and formerly of San Antonio, passed away Wednesday, March 4. She was a dedicated Christian, wife homemaker, and working mother who retired from the University Federal Credit Union. She was preceded in death by husbands, George Hathaway and Al Kircher, and her son, Curtis Hathaway.

Vivian is survived by her son, John Hathaway and wife Jana; daughter, Pauline Spears and husband Ben; sister-in-law, Alma Menn; and stepchildren, Al Kircher and wife Marilyn, Charlene Bryant and husband Jack, and Charles Kircher and wife Maria. Vivian is also survived by grandchildren, Paula Wood and husband Randy, Jeff Spears, Leslie Houchins and husband David, and John Hathaway and wife Cindy. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Zachary and Joshua Wood, Harrison and Hailey Houchins, and Connor Hathaway. She is also survived by seven step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service and interment were 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at the San Jose Cemetery in San Antonio with Dan Shipley officiating. The family would like to extend special thanks to the Oaks Nursing Home in Burnet and to Odyssey Hospice.
