Clara Kreischer, 19 years old, and "Mutt" at her family's farmhouse (today, the corner of Kreischer Road and Church Street, North Syracuse, New York). 26 August 1925. This photo was taken when her father was confined to his bed with his final illness from cancer. Clara was devastated by the loss.

Clara Kreischer Lipke at Kreischer Road, North Syracuse, near where her childhood farmhouse home once stood (at Kreischer Road and Church Street). The road was named after her grandparents, Jacob and Catharina (Gilcher) Kreischer, who settled on their farm there circa 1900. This photo was taken in 1973 and shows Clara and Tony's Yorkie, Eloise, who traveled with them on their annual visits to New York State from their home in California.
