MISHAWAKA - Francis E. ''Fritz'' Ringle, 70, of South Russell Avenue, died at 10:38 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Community Hospital of natural causes. Mr. Ringle retired in 1981 from Tucker Freight Lines.

He was born July 16, 1925, in Plymouth. On July 1, 1944, in Plymouth, he married Jeanette Head. She survives with four daughters, Judith Ankin, Carol Kaufman, and Beverly Ringle, all of South Bend, and Debra Jefferies of Mishawaka; four sons, Michael and John, both of Mishawaka, Billy of Walkerton, and Larry of South Bend; 30 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Marvin of Plymouth and Wendell of Rochester. He was a member of Teamster Local 364.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St., South Bend. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
