Frank died from arthrosclerosis and an accidental fall against tub at the Lorain County Home in Carlisle Twp., Lorain Co., OH and was buried 3 Dec 1945.

FRANK WHYTE
AMHERST -- Frank Whyte, 80, died Friday morning at the Lorain county home.
Born in Scotland, he came to the United States in 1885 and had been a resident of Amherst and South Amherst until five months ago, when he went to the home. He was a member of the South Amherst Congregational church.
Surviving are six children, James of South Amherst, and Mrs. Frances Raesler of Amherst; Mrs. Reinhart Draves and Mrs. William Farrell of Detroit; Mrs. Charles Bitesell, Morristown, Tenn., and Mrs. Alvin Benton, Elyria. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The body will be removed today to the son's home, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Myron Glick officiating.
Burial will be made in Crownhill cemetery.
