HARRIET E. PICKERING

Harriet E. Pickering, widow of the late Marcus Pickering, a former wellknown resident of Cadiz, died at her home on South Main street in Elwood this morning at 9 a.m. Three daughters: Mrs. P. F. Parker of Knightstown, Mrs. R. F. Broadbent of Elwood and Mrs. Howard Riley of Muncie, two sons: Clarence McShirley and Carl Pickering of Newcastle and three sisters survive.
The body will be brought to Newcastle and will lie in state at the Fox chapel from 9 to 11 o'clock Thursday morning. The cortege will leave Newcastle at 11 o'clock. The funeral will be held at the Cadiz M. E. church Thursday at 1 o'clock. Interment will take place at the Cadiz cemetery.
