POCATELLO, ID -- Vivian E. Gray, 85, of Idaho Falls, died March 8, 2009, at Beacon Hospital & Rehabilitation in Pocatello.

She was born December 20, 1924, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Arthur Edward Ellingford and Inez Cutler Ellingford. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

She married Leo Dean Gray on December 15, 1943, in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Idaho Falls, where they raised their son and daughter on the family farm. Dean preceded her in death on June 24, 1989.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed being a member of the Relief Society and attending church activities. She enjoyed working on the farm, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include:

Daughter: Pegi Drollinger, Ammon, ID
Brother: Mahlon Ellingford, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Jack Ellingford, Idaho Falls, ID
2 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services, with both visitations at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
