Well Known Physician Dies Near His Home at Dublin, Ga, May 19. (Special) Dr. Benjamin F. Stanley, who died Friday night of Bright's disease, at his home in this county, was buried today at the Stanley burial ground, twelve miles from Dublin. Dr. Stanley was sixty-seven years of age and was one of the most prominent men in the county. He attended college at Thedford, Vt., and after graduating took a course in medicine at the Augusta Medical college. During the past fifteen years he has not practiced medicine, but was engaged in farming. He has a large family connection in this county. He leaves a wife and three children - Mrs. Dr. R. S. McCarthy, of Gordon; Mrs. Dr. J. H. Duggan, of Wilkinson county, and Mr. Rollin M. Stanley, of Laurens county. Dr. Stanley was a surgeon in the confederate army. A large number of Dublin people attended his funeral.
