Mrs. Sarah Lytle died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ella Bowser, of 360 South Water Street, Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock after a lingering illness. She was aged 80 years, six months and 15 days. Surviving her are one son, William D. Lytle, and the following daughters: Mrs. Ella Bowser; Mrs. C.F. Fair; and Mrs. Guy Heffelfinger. Twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive. Her husband, Howard Lytle, preceded her in death in 1924, and a son, John M. Lytle, died in 1926. Also surviving are two sisters: Mrs. J.H. Wyant, and Mrs. Margaret Lasher and a host of Friends. She was a life long member of the Limestone Church of God. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Kittanning, on Wednesday afternoon, August 31, 1938, at 3:30 o'clock (DST). Rev. W.K. Morgan will be in charge with Rev. S.E. Slagle assisting. Interment will be in the Cowansville Presbyterian Cemetery.
