Mrs. Louisa Mary Liette, 78, widow of Constant Liette of North Star, passed away at her home there Saturday evening at 9:50 o'clock. Although she had been in poor health for the past 4 years, her passing was unexpected. She was born on April 8, 1866 at Versailles, the daughter of Francis and Celestine Voisinet Bulcher, and was united in marriage to Constant Liette in 1886. They were the parents of 15 children, 7 of whom have proceeded her in death, as has her husband. Surviving children are: Frank Liette of New Weston, Miss Thereasa Liette at home, Mrs. Estella George of North Star, Leonard Liette of Rossburg, Adrian Liette of Recovery, Raymond Liette of New Weston, Miss Agnes Liette at home, and Bernard Liette of Russia OH. There are also 44 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren surviving. Eight of the grandchildren are in the armed forces with seven overseas. She was a member of the St. Louis church at North Star and of the St. Ann Society of that church. Her greatest interest was in her home and church. Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock in the St. Louis church, under the direction of Rev. John T. Hannahan, with burial in the St. Louis cemetery.
