Alfred Solomon Cochran was the son of Solomon & Mary (Hawthorne) Cochran. He married (1) Clara Jones on March 20, 1888. They had 4 children. Two (Charles and Ollie May) died in 1893 and two other daughters lived - Maude and Mary. In 1904, he married (2) Mrs. Cloie May (Mulkin) Graham. He became step-father to her daughter, Mabel Graham. Alfred and Cloie were parents to four children-Walter, Alfred, Nellie Ruth and Bessie Fern.
