Cecil Ray Parrick of Depew, died Sunday, April 25, 1999 at his home following and extended illness, He was 52.

Graveside services were conducted on Tuesday, April 27, 1999 at Oakdale Cemetery, Depew. Burial was under the direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home of Bristow.

Parrick was born February 21, 1947 in Depew, the son of Robert and Alice Mae(Graves) Parrick. He was a Depew resident all of his life, and attended Depew High School.

He was a member of the Depew First Baptist Church.

Parrick was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1967. He retired in 1968 after sustaining severe injuries while in Vietnam. He was awarded several decorations including the Purple Heart, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Metal with one Bronze Star, Vietnam Campaign Metal and the National Defense service Metal.CECIL WAS A SP 4 IN THE U.S.ARMY IN VIETNAM.

Survivors includes his widow, Patty Dondaldson Parrick of the home; son Jason Parrick of Bristow; sisters, Hazel Cutsinger of Perry, Laura Brown of Depew, Helen Henshaw of Midwest City, and Lillie Neal, Oklahoma City; brothers Pete Parrick and Delbert Parrick of Depew, and Fred Parrick of Oklahoma City; three grandsons, Jere-miah, Jacob and Josh; stept-children, Debra Stubblefield of Bristow, Linda Donaldson of Beggs, Junior Donaldson of Depew, Donna Glass of Inola, Dianna Cooper of Depew, Danna Williams of Hasting, NE, and Trela Click of Mounds; step-grandchildren, Kenney, Jolene, Misty, Cole, Michele, Nichole, Robbie, Nicholes, Mandy, J.D, Christopher, Drew, Melissa, Donnie and Amber.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert(Sonny) Parrick and Patrick "Shorty" Parrick.
