Frankie David Parrick was born April 3, 1935, to Robert Jason and Alice May Parrick in Seminole, Oklahoma. He departed this life August 29, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

Pete attended Gypsy Public Schools. On June 11, 1952, he was united in marriage with Bobbie Ruth Smith. From this union were born three children, Robert, Pam, and Frank. They enjoyed almost 60 years together before her passing August 8, 2012.

He was a member of the Depew First Baptist Church. He retired from Sheffield Steel where he served as a foreman. Pete enjoyed ranching and tending to his cattle. He also loved gardening especially growing watermelons. His pride and joy was his family. He loved bragging on each one of them to whomever would lend him an ear.

He is survived by three children, Robert Parrick and wife Lorene, Pam Inman and husband Johnny, Frank Parrick and wife Rhonda; one sister, Helen Henshaw and husband Gerald; one brother, Delbert Parrick; eight grandchildren, David, Donna, Shawna, Carl, Tammy, Daniel, Justin, and Danisha; thirteen great grandchildren, Frankie, Kalie, Devin, Trevor, Shaina, Kamryn, Ethan, Brody, Blake, Jackson, Georgia, Wyatt, and Gunner; two great great grandchildren, Malia Grace, and Kimber Renee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, six brothers, Raymond, Robert, Patrick, Fred, Cecil, and Donald Parrick; three sisters, Hazel Cutsinger, Laura Alice Brown, and Lillie Neal; one great grandson, Cody Parrick.

Visitation will be Thursday, Sept 1, 2022, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Hutchins Maples Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00AM, Friday, September 2, 2022, at the Depew First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Oakdale Cemetery, Depew, Oklahoma.
