She was the daughter of John Elex and Maggie Mae (Rowsey) Cargill. She married Noal Holder on Oct. 7, 1944, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 1997. She lived her whole life in Eufaula until she moved to Blocker in 1997. She loved garage sales where she bought lots of Barbie dolls to dress them up and fixed their hair. Survivors include her daughters, Lillian Allen and husband, Charles, of Blocker, and Joyce Funburg and husband, James, also of Blocker. Also, her son, Harold Holder, of Eufaula; seven grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noal; her parents, John and Maggie Cargill; her brothers, Dewey Mitchell and Carl Stutts; her sister, Lorene Johnston, and a son, Floyd Holder. Pallbearers were Kenneth Gideon, Klint Gideon, Jimmy Allen, Harold Holder, Daniel Beck and Phillip Joyce. Honorary pallbearers were Jay Brady and Ray Jones. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 10, at Kelley Memorial Chapel with the Rev. G.C. Gray officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory of Eufaula.
