Noble Noal Holder, 74, of Eufaula, Oklahoma passed away Monday, December 22, 1997 at Community Hospital Lakeview in Eufaula. Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 24, 1997, at Merritt Funeral Service Chapel of Eufaula. Burial followed at Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Holder was born November 25, 1923 at Cleburne, Arkansas, to Charlie Joe Holder and Edith (Staggs) Holder. He was a member of the Oklahoma City American Legion #06. He was a veteran of World War II, Armed Division under General Patton. On October 7, 1944, he married Eunice Cargill in Eufaula, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Joe and Edith Holder; one brother, Hershel Holder.
Survivors include his wife, Edith of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lillian and Charles Allen and Joyce and Sonny Funburg all of Blocker, Oklahoma ; two sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd and Paulette Holder of buffalo Valley and Harold and Diane Holder of Wister, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren: Travis and Tracy Allen, Twyla Joyce, Eldon Holder, Cindy Holder, Yancy and Yates Funburg; eight great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Loren and Nyta Holder; one sister, Daisy McKinney of Holdenville, Oklahoma.
