GLINES (Special)--The ward chapel was filled to capacity with relatives and friends for the funeral services of Mrs. Nora Cook, which were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Death occurred Sunday as the result of a long illness.

Music was furnished by a ladies double trio composed of Mrs. Lawrence Wardle, Mrs. Don Batty, Mrs. William E, Pearce Jr., Mrs. Martin W. Curis, Mrs. Myron Perry and Miss Enid Reid, accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Thos. Timothy. They sang "Sometime We'll Understand," "Sweet Mother Mine" and "Sister, Thou Wast Mild and Lovely." Mrs. Mae Jorgensen sang "Going Home," accompanied by Mrs. Mable Stagg.

The speaakers were Ernestt Eatton, Archie Johnson and Bishop John B Eaton The opening prayer was offered by Louis S. Gardiner and the benedictton by Eugene Woodruff of the ward bishopric. Many beautiful floral offerings graced the casket and rostrum.

The pallbearers were Earl and Orman, Delbert and Frank Thomas, all nephews. Interment was in the Maeser cemetery under the direction of the Swain Funeral Home. The grave was dedicated by Bishop Eaton.

Eliza Lenore Thomas Cook was born January 29, 1875 in Spanish Fork, Utah. She was a daughter of Louisa Aurelia and Matt Thomas. At the age of ten the family moved to Vernal February 26, 1896. She was married to John William Cook. The following children survive, John N., Mrs. Vera Allred, Jasper, Harold and Reva, all of Glines.
Mrs. Cook as an active member of the Church served as a teacher in the Relief Society and Primary and a counselor in the Relief Society. Her greatest happiness came from caring for the sick.

Relatives here from distant points to attend the services were a sister, Mrs. Aurelia Argyle of Spanish Fork; Mrs. Lucy Timothy of Salt Lake; a brother, Frank Thomas, Mrs. Clydie Richens of Sandy; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Watson, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. McGrath of Castle Gate; Mrs. Mattie Cook and Mrs. Gertie Casper of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Leland Timothy and Mr. and Mrs. Hy Argyle of Bingham Canyon.
