Nora Boster dies; services
held at Mora Monday
Funeral services were held Monday, March 24, at the United Methodist Church in Mora for Nora Mae Boster, 73, who died at her home Friday, March 21; Dr. James Gaughan officiated.
Todd Boster, Gregg Boster, Dean Boster, Scott Persson, Daniel Persson and Steven Boster were pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers included Jeffery Boster, Mike Boster, Joel Boster, Kory Boster, Lane Boster, Bryan Boster, Kurtiss Persson and Robyn Persson. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery at Mora. Dresser Funeral service of Mora was in charge of arrangements.
Nora Mae Boster was born April 16, 1906, in North Dakota. She moved to Heron Lake with her parents when she was five years of age. She was married to Lyle L. Boster July 9, 1924, at Windom. They were the parents of six sons and one daughter (another son died in infancy). They moved to Kanabec County in 1941, and settled in Whited Township. Mr. and Mrs. Boster celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary July 9, 1977.
Mrs. Boster was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lyle. She is survived by six sons, Dalton of Fairbanks, Alaska, Marlyn of Cambridge, LeRoy of Buno, Gary of Minneapolis and Roger and James, both of Mora; one daughter, Mrs. Mel Persson (Lyla) of Mora; three brothers, one sister, 23 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
