Mr. Ethridge was born August 14, 1920, in Williamsburg County, a son of Harrelson (sic) Ethridge and Sally Godwin Ethridge. He was educated in Williamsburg County Schools, and was a retired cloth puller with Oneita Industry. He was a member of the Family Worship Center.
Surviving are his wife, Linnie Estell Casselman Ethridge of Andrews; three sons, Harold J. Ethridge and J. W. Ethridge, both of Andrews, and Lloyd Ethridge of Pamplico; three daughters, Barbara E. High of Andrews, Linnie E. McCutcheon of Monroe, NC, and Jackie E. Elliott of Georgetown; a sister, Amanda Cooper of Andrews; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
